As The Mall at Cribbs Causeway remains partially closed due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, the centre had PPE and sanitising products which were not being used. With the help of Environmental Services Manager, John Ellis, Cleaning Supervisor, Lisa Ellis and Security Manager, Carl Best the products have been donated to four Care Homes within the local area.
Glebe House, Beech House, Field House and Quarry House were among the four Care Homes which each received trigger Dettol bottles with refills, boxes of gloves, tubes of sanitising wipes and face masks. Speaking about the delivery, Carl Best said, “On Tuesday morning the products were successfully delivered to each Care Home, all of whom were very grateful”.
The centre urges any other businesses who are not using similar products to donate anything they can to those who need it most as it’s important to help fight this together.
Marks and Spencers food remains open at The Mall for essential food items, and can be accessed from its own entrance. The internal Mall remains closed.
