Play Me, I'm Yours

Play Me, I'm Yours

Luke Jerram’s world-famous 'Play Me, I’m Yours' street piano project will hit the streets of Bristol this summer. The artwork is a musical trail of 18 individually-decorated pianos installed in public spaces across a city for everyone to play and as one of the proud sponsors The Mall will play host to one!

The piano will be at The Mall from Thursday 17th August – Thursday 7th September for shoppers to play, listen and enjoy. Located at the John Lewis and Marks & Spencer entrances, it will then be donated by The Mall to a local charity or organisation when the exhibition comes to an end in September.

This marks the 10th year of the project which has seen over 1700 pianos in over 55 cities across the globe reaching over 10 million people, bearing the simple instruction Play Me, I’m Yours. Luke Jerram, the Bristol-based artist behind the project, said: “We have tried to design a trail that takes in popular Bristol spots, well-known musical destinations, as well as places in the wider community.... we wanted to showcase the vibrant creative flair this city has to offer and also its incredible diversity."

From Morph to make up there's loads on for all ages at the Mall this summer so don't miss out!
