Schools and Colleges

The Mall has formed strong links with local schools and colleges through different initiatives. It is an ideal venue for students to enhance their project work in Geography, Tourism and Business Studies. Schools and Colleges can visit The Mall through prior arrangement and carry out surveys and questionnaires with customers. The Mall can also provide a pre-booked presentation to school and college parties that includes the history, customer research, design and the Marketing strategy of The Mall.

The Cribbs Causeway Education Group is a forum made up of Mall Management, Cribbs Causeway retailers, Connexions and teachers from local schools and colleges. The Group explores ideas and opportunities to link Cribbs Causeway with education. Initiatives so far include Skills in Retail events for students to spend the day looking behind the scenes in retail, events for teachers and the Cribbs Causeway Work Experience programme. The Mall also has strong links with Connections and the Employment Service offering quality work experience opportunities and with Filton College for modern apprenticeships. The Mall's work experience programme was commended by the National Quality Standards in 1999.
