Carluccio's, the authentic Italian caffè, restaurant and foodshop, will open at The Mall in August.

Carluccio's joins a line-up of 10 contemporary and fast food restaurants in The Avenue, including YO! Sushi and Patisserie Valerie which opened recently.

Other restaurants in The Avenue include Nandos, Pizza Hut, McDonalds and Spud-u-Like.

"Who needs London Fashion Week when we have Bristol
Fashion Week!" declared TV fashion stylist Mark Heyes,
as he bounced on to the catwalk at the start of our nine day
fashion and beauty spectacular recently. And, as we all
basked under sunny blue skies, it was hard to disagree!

Mark and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton were both
back in town to host what many think was our best fashion
event to date.

Over 300 summer looks from retailers as diverse as
John Lewis, Gap, Coast, Warehouse, East, Suits You,
Marks & Spencer, Free Spirit, Sole Trader, New Look,
Phase Eight and Jane Norman were showcased on the
catwalk to a near capacity crowd of 6,000 fashionistas.

Thanks to all of you who came along and made the event
such a sizzling success! We look forward to seeing you
again at Bristol Fashion Week in the autumn.
