Bristol Fashion Week Springs into action

Bristol fashionistas' turned up on mass for Bristol Fashion Week's Spring/Summer catwalk shows. With complimentary drinks and nibbles on arrival (courtesy of M&S), AREA magazine and BFW scene lists waiting on seats, thousands of dolled up ladies and gentlemen rushed into the theatre in anticipation.

The opening kicked off with a dramatic performance by classical violinist Lettice Rowbotham playing Toccata to a backdrop of dark thundery clouds clearing through to make way for a bright summer backdrop and models dressed in fashions from John Lewis - a great start to keep us all glued to our seats!

TV stylist Mark Heyes and Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton presented the shows and were on top form as always!

The scene which caused a huge stir in the audience was Mark and Andrew’s announcement of a "Posh Raffle!" during the show - a luxury Aspinal handbag (courtesy of John Lewis) was given away to one lucky guest in every catwalk show across the week (18 in total!) - a lovely treat for every winner.

After the show, guests were invited up to the Beauty Zone in The Mall to collect their goody bags and book themselves a beauty treatment. Treats ranged from Reflexology and mini-manicures to fish pedicures and 3D body scanning!

Once again another fantastic fashion week, take a look at a few snapshot highlights:
